The "Matrix" is a new Console from SSL designed to adress the requirements of a particular target group in the current studio market scene, where a smaller, Hi-Quality desk - much like the API 1608 or Portico 5088 - will be used for tracking, mixing and/or as a sidecar along a DAW. That includes pro musicians and composers, smaller studios, B rooms, producer's personal studios, and all those interested in keeping a Hi-End analog front-end.
